Being from Bangkok, we are constantly in awe of the amazing photographers, explorers, adventurers and travelers that are on Instagram. Of course we also love seeing photos of the world, especially places like Santorini or Turks & Cacos but Bangkok has a special place in our heart. Apart from being one of the top most visited city in the world, it is also one of the top most instagrammed. But there is a lot of white noise if you search #Bangkok so here are some of our favorite Bangkok instagrammers that you should follow or check out too.

P.S. This post was inspired by our friend Nicrulez who is also on the list.

@Alexontrails

Alex is a graphic designer and photographer from Bangkok. He’s also a traveler and runs a Bangkok Vantage points group where they all climb rooftops and buildings to take photos of the city skyline. He has organized quite a few but we never seem to make it to any of them. Someday for sure!

@Nicrulez

Nicole, a German expat who has lived in Bangkok for about 2 years now and possibly seen and done more than most people. She is an incredible person who fills her time working as a social media marketer cum urban explorer, adventurer and a fantastic amateur photographer. You can find her on rooftops or on the streets taking some awesome shots.

Brick or Brian as Nicole mentioned in her post has a pretty unique Instagram feed. His style is vibrantly stunning and shares everything between cityscape to people.

@dima_trionix

Dima is the admin @bangkokspirit and has a very dark, moody theme to his page, especially when it comes to city skyline shots. We like seeing his night photography shots and he also gives useful tips when we ask.

He shares truly authentic photos of Bangkok and Thailand ranging from people and cityscapes to even macro shots of flowers and architectural designs. Most people focus on the modern style, while his is more traditional, which is a nice change. You will definitely see a unique glimpse into Thai culture through his account.

Some honorable mentions

Here are some other Bangkok instagrammers we thought deserves some mention.

@bee_seksan88 – a Bangkok city lover just like this. His photos are mostly of cityscapes and architecture and switches between color and black and white. He also replies to comments, which we like. He helped give advice on how to shoot photos and what settings to put.

@Whereisone – another brilliantly talented young guy. He’s also currently 17. Wow, if only I thought of crafting my trade at that age. His photos of the city are mesmerizing. It will be awesome to see where Tony goes from here and what he accomplishes after his studies.

@johnsnoop22 – great visuals! This account deserves more followers.

@ongthr – who says you need expensive camera and big lenses to take good photos?

@teguh_priambodo – an Indonesian, working and living in Bangkok. His work speaks for himself.
