If there is something you should know, it’s that I LOVE music festivals and concerts. In fact, before I picked up the love and passion for traveling, all I would look forward and go to were the latest, happening events. So when I learned about this upcoming music festival in Thailand at a BEACH in Pattaya, which is just 2 hours away from Bangkok, I had to find a way to go it. The event’s name – WARP Music Festival, which is basically an EDM extravaganza lasting 30 hours, spread across 6 different parties.

The problem was, their tickets were selling out fast so I sent an email to the PR of the event organizer. Long story short, we were kindly able to get a press invite from them! Woohoo, YAY!

Although a few weeks away, I’m really excited to attend the festival because I just cannot wait to dance to some awesome music and party! Also, not to mention, I get to satisfy my travel lust a little bit. Who doesn’t like going to the beach, right?

WARP Music Festival last year

After doing a bit of research about the event, I found out that last year it was a huge success with over 4,700 attendees! It’s no wonder because not only do people love the beach but put in an epic lineup of DJs with the likes of Andrew Rayel (the #24 of DJ Mag”s Top 100 DJs list), Thomas Newson, DubVision and Max Vangeli and you have yourself a spectacular destination event. Supposedly, it is THE official dance music festival on the beach in Thailand and the first of its kind.

Sure you have the rave and full moon parties at Koh Phangan and the experience festival in Koh Tao but I guess they are of a different genre and concept.

Last year, the WARP Music Festival event space was styled with space-themed decorations, which is pretty cool but also quite a bit of a contrast, being that it was a beach party after all. Usually, beach concerts and parties are themed with neon colors and psychedelic decorations. This year it is going to be the same as 2015 with the theme LOST ON JUPITER so it should be interesting to see it in person. Watch out WARP Music Festival, here we come!
