Get your scariest, sexiest or coolest Halloween outfits ready people. There is a big Halloween music festival coming on October 28th.

You guys know how much I love music festivals. I have been to many and covered quite a few on the blog.

So I am excited to say that I am attending the Dark Festival. And it is going to be legendary and here is why.

Tickets: ฿1,850 for a single ticket or ฿7,400.00 for a group of 5

Hard-hitting Lineup

Dark Festival features some of the most famous hardstyle and electro DJs from around the world.

First up they have Matthias Richter, better known as Tujamo, who will most likely be the headliner. He is a German electro-house DJ known for tracks such as Drop That Low, Boneless, and Underwater.

One of his latest tracks is called Freak which he collaborated with Inna and Azteck.

Then we have Showtek, who is one of my favorites. I listen to them when I work out as they have some incredible melodic hardstyle tracks. Mellow and Bad featuring David Guetta are definitely worth a listen.

Juicy M and Jeffrey Sutorius are two dark horses at this festival. I have checked out some of their music and I am intrigued, especially with Juicy M. She seems like she will go the hardest with her set at the festival. At least I am hoping.

What so not and What is Sleep are going to kick off Dark Festival. I intend to come early to check them out as well. From my experience, the starting set and middle set DJs often do an incredible job.

Stage Design & Overall Production

As a Halloween-themed music festival, Dark is going all out with its production. Expect one of the coolest stage designs with possibly a giant cross in the back or even all around the event hall.

They will also most likely have all creepy and satanic stuff hanging about.

Along with the decor and furniture, Dark Festival will take light and sound systems to the next level. There will be giant LED screens and all kinds of laser lights to really get you in raving beast mode.

Of course, to compliment the hardstyle EDM, they will go big with a quality bass-heavy sound system.

At least that is what I am told. But to be honest, I really expect good things at this festival.

It is the first one of its kind in Bangkok, so I am sure they will do everything to make it a huge success.

There are surely going to be a lot of surprises that even I can’t think of.

Performances

Other than the DJs playing their sets, Dark Festival will also have live shows and performances by trapeze artists, acrobats, and lots of dancers in Halloween outfits.

I expect some kick-ass costumes at this festival. The dress code is all black so it will be interesting what people wear.

It goes well with the whole dark theme.

Here is my costume concept – cyberpunk/steampunk style with an addition of a Purge mask.

Or something similar. I still have to buy some stuff for the outfit.
