Either it’s smoldering hot half the year or it’s raining in Bangkok. Either way, the day gets humid and we all need to keep cool. With the summer around the corner, the heat isn’t letting it up. Walk a few meters out of the house and you’re leaving a trail of dripping sweat. Sure, air-conditioned malls and restaurants are a good way to cool off but we think lounging by the pool, sipping on cocktails and listening to snazzy tunes is a much better way to beat the summer heat.
Lucky for us, and you, Bangkok is not shy from hosting some of the most sensational and coolest pool parties. Here are the best ones, at least the ones we know of.
SO Pool Party
Quite possibly the coolest and THE place to be if you’re looking for great music, drink deals and a Hi-So crowd of expats, Thais and even some tourists. They might be the pioneers of a good old fashioned pool party with one of the sickest views of the city and an infinity pool to die for. If you want to be seen, known or get to know people, don’t miss out So Sofitel’s monthly pool party. You’re SO going to love it.

Rise Pool Parties
Rise production and entertainment studio love to host events. Among those events are some great pool parties such as the H2O and Chinese New Year pool party. If you want to stay updated with their latest events, check out RISE’s Facebook page.

Westin
Westin hosts a pretty decent pool party with good music, F&B deals and an ecstatic crowd. Stay updated about the next event on Westin Bangkok‘s or JAXX Entertainment Facebook page.
When: every 2nd or 3rd week of the month

Blast!
An event that focuses on music over everything else. This party combines sun, friends, music and energy to an immersive experience. If you like techno-house, be sure to join this event. Liquid
This is the first one at this destination and its from the same guys behind the Westin’s pool party. The hotel is also fairly new, having being open only a few months now. We’ll have to check this one out and get back to you. Liquid launch party will combine good music featuring famous local and international DJs with special drink deals – a great combination for everyone to party hard.
